About Me

I'm Shuvankar Debnath — a Software & AI Engineer based in Kolkata, India, building at the intersection of intelligent systems and modern full-stack development. I design and ship production-ready applications, combining the MERN stack with applied AI and computer vision models.

During my backend internship at IEMRF, I designed REST APIs and MongoDB schemas for ERP and LMS platforms used by real users. I also developed a plant disease detection pipeline using YOLOv8, YOLOv9, and YOLOv11 on Roboflow-annotated datasets, achieving ~92% mAP.

Pursuing a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering at IEM Kolkata (graduating 2027) shapes my software engineering perspective, applying control systems modeling to software simulations and systems design.

In addition to engineering, I have years of freelance experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Filmora) and graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator), which directly feeds into how I design user interfaces and present digital products.

Observed and assisted in maintenance and inspection workflows for high-voltage electrical equipment, applying core EE concepts in a live industrial environment.

Developed a practical understanding of safety protocols and operational standards followed in critical energy infrastructure at a national PSU.
